If you can read Guitar Tabs you can learn from Shred Shed.
Initially however the site is built for Intermediate to Advanced Players focusing on solos.
Lets say you know how to play the chords to the song (you can get them anywhere) but you want to learn not only how to play the solo but to really play it like the master performer who made it famous.
Maybe the name is Steve or Jerry or BB. We will never get it exact but likely better than you will get from most other directions. Out of respect for the artists (copyright holders) we have obtained the necessary clearances. A decent part of the subscription cost is shared by our heroes and authors.
Maybe you know your scales, arpeggios and triads but want to really learn how the master approached the song? The Shred Shed is for you.
Maybe you are an active gigging musician on lead guitar…your buddies want to add a classic song and you have to not only rock out the solo but learn it quick. The Shred Shed is for you.
Many of the solos come from live performances capturing extended versions of the solo.
Over time we plan to take a song and add varied versions from different performances or the same song but from a different artist.
Sure you can pick up bits and pieces on Youtube but here you get full solos in some songs we add the full intro, full solos, bridges and fills. The parts you need to get through a gig or just impress your friends and jam-mates.
Each Lesson comes with a full “DEMO” play through accompanied by a “LESSON” video.
The LESSON video brakes down the solo in segments. Each segment is played at full speed and then slower.
Be sure to click on the tab titled “How to Use the Player”. Here you learn to loop, slow speed etc.
